1958 ITALIAN P40 CHAIR
-
Description
This 1958 Italian P40 Chair by Osvaldo Borsani is a timeless classic for any modern space. Constructed from solid beech and beech plywood, its expertly crafted frame makes the chair a durable yet stylish piece of furniture with lasting appeal.
Throughout the 1940's and early 50's, Borsani produced a large body of work including case goods, storage pieces, and seating. Balancing his pieces perfectly between lines and curves, function and elegance, lightness and robustness, Osvaldo Borsani and his twin brother founded the company Tecno in 1953 that became known for its technological approach to furniture design.
Natasha Esch curates a selection of vintage and new items from around the world including original furniture from Hans Wegner, Arne Norell, Guillerme et Chambron and many more. Vintage pieces are either in their original vintage condition or newly reupholstered and available for purchase right off of our showroom floor. Natasha founded MONC XIII in 2012 with her husband, Matt Coffin. Prior to MONC XIII, Natasha was an Interior Designer in Los Angeles and earlier in her career was the President of Wilhelmina Models.
