Description
A single chair from the Todd Merrill Custom Originals line upholstered in Romo velvet with a chrome base. The chair is shown with and without an additional ottoman.
This elegant, comfortable, and versatile custom seating can be configured in multiple ways as part of the Todd Merrill Custom Originals Line. Each ottoman, single-back section, or corner section can be custom-made in size, starting at 30″ square, to accommodate any interior. Fabric, finish, gilding, metal plating and extras, like casters and hardware, can all be bespoke, and every item is ordered individually and made one at a time.
The frames are made of solid hardwood and steel. The standard base comes in polished chromed steel but can be customized in brass, bronze, wood, or lacquer. The tufting is deep and very comfortable with multiple layers of foam added for maximum support and cushioning.
Merrill’s creations are based on his vast experience with 20th century design and his ability to produce furniture and case pieces with unique details. Custom Originals produces the finest quality designer furniture from Todd Merrill’s signature designs. He personally supervises the production of every item at the finest local workshops with master craftsmen who use state-of-the-art techniques.
