Description
This is an outstanding pair of William & Mary English walnut side chairs that date to the end of the 17th century. These chairs are elaborately carved with acanthus leaves and shells to the crests and scrolling legs terminating in hoof feet. The chairs are i overall good to very good condition with anticipated small areas of old worming (inactive) which have been restored on the lower legs and stretcher. Both chairs are stable and ready for use. They are currently upholstered in a woven linen which acceptable.
