Description
a pair of early 19th-century Regency armchairs, ebonized with gilt stencil decoration; each features a double-baluster crest rail above a lyre-form openwork back, flanked by down-curving outswept arms on turned baluster supports; the caned balloon seats have removable cushions all on faux bamboo turned, tapering legs ending in splayed feet; seat height with cushion: 20" without cushion: 16.75"
