Description
A handsome pair of Randolph & Hein Italian chairs, featuring the clean, architectural lines and balanced symmetry that define the transition of classical design into the modern era. The straight, upright backs and tapered, fluted legs reflect a sophisticated understanding of proportion and the enduring appeal of the neoclassical silhouette.
Circa 1980, these pieces are faithful reproductions made during the period when Randolph & Hein was establishing its reputation for master-level craftsmanship and old-world artistry.
Carved wood frames with a painted finish and upholstered seats and backs, presented in excellent condition. Rooted in the Neoclassical tradition, these chairs carry the refined restraint of the Louis XVI style into a late 20th-century context, offering a timeless elegance that complements both traditional and contemporary interiors. -
