Description
This pair of armchairs is a rare find that speaks to the elegance and artistry of the early 20th century. They embody the timeless elegance and craftsmanship of a bygone era and showcase the perfect balance between subtle intrigue and a traditional look.
In line with the Art Deco movement during which they were designed and manufactured, these chairs illustrate the bold, rich and luxurious aesthetic of the era. Before giving way to mid-century modernism and its focus on function over form, Art Deco pieces coupled geometry and craftsmanship to arrive as elegantly impressive additions to their interiors. These chairs, with their fully upholstered bodies, embrace the ruling principle of luxurious comfort without sacrificing style. The textural upholstery adds a tactile dimension to the design, enhancing comfort. The scalloped backs soften the overall design, balancing the structure with subtle fluidity. The standout feature of the model is the wooden overlay featured on the armrests, which follows the curvature from the back to the feet of the chairs. These wooden accents are not only visually appealing but also add a sense of practicality and further increase the longevity of the pair, ensuring the armrests remain pristine and functional for years to come.
Ideal as a stylish addition to any modern interior, this pair of armchairs effortlessly combines sophistication with practicality. Mixing thought-out proportions with intentional material choices, these chairs add a touch of iconic glamour and timeless design to any living space.
