A refined pair of Gustavian style armchairs from Sweden, dating to the early 20th century and crafted in the neoclassical tradition. Each chair features an oval backrest with molded frames and subtle floral crest carvings, exuding the light, balanced elegance characteristic of the Gustavian aesthetic.

Constructed from carved wood, likely beech or birch, the frames have been finished in a pale, dry-scraped paint that reveals gentle traces of the natural wood beneath, lending depth and softness to the surface. Delicate rosettes, fluted legs, and foliate carving on the apron complete the sculptural detailing.

The armrests are gracefully curved and padded for comfort, while the seats and backs are upholstered in a textured off-white linen or linen-blend fabric, offering a timeless, versatile look that suits both traditional and modern interiors.
