Pair of Elm Wood Benches, Europe Mid-20th Century

European furniture makers in the mid-20th century increasingly embraced simplified forms that highlighted the natural character of wood rather than concealing it beneath ornament or excessive carving. In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. The benches have recently been reconditioned. Minor scratches and spots are present. Due to the age and nature of the material, the items may have marks and discolouration.
