Pair of French Mid-Century Modern Carved Wood and Leather Stools or Benches
-
Description
Unique pair of French mid-century hand-carved stools or benches in the Brutalist tradition.
The pieces feature dramatic hand chiseled wood with natural deep channeling that shows the rough character of the wood. The structure forms a X with both sides of the base intersecting and supporting each other. The seats are natural cowhide and attached to the frame by large round bronze tacks. -
