Description
A refined pair of French armchairs crafted in solid walnut, dating to the turn of the 20th century. These chairs feature richly carved frames with elegant scrolling arms and a distinctive X-form crossbar stretcher, providing both visual balance and structural stability. The walnut displays a warm patina, enhanced by subtle carved detailing along the legs and arm supports.

Both the seats and backs are upholstered in a decorative floral-patterned fabric, complementary to the period and in good condition. The upholstery is finished with large brass nailhead trim, adding a strong decorative accent while emphasizing the clean architectural lines of the frames. The seats retain their original webbing and straps, all in sound condition, ensuring comfort and durability.

Decorative yet functional, these armchairs are well suited for a living room, study, or bedroom. They reflect solid craftsmanship and restrained ornamentation typical of French furniture from the late 19th to early 20th century.
