This pair of French Louis XVI style armchairs were hand carved during the period of Napoleon III and feature an oval medallion back and tapered, fluted legs. They display an aged white gessoed finish and are currently in as-found condition with white muslin upholstery and remnants of a beautiful antique blue fabric on the back.
