Pair of ocher and oxblood red painted vernacular Swedish chairs circa 1890-1939. Two small side chairs hand-carved with mortise and tenon construction. Remnants of early ocher and oxblood red paint. Sold together and priced $2,800 for the pair.

Origin: Sweden Period: 19th Century Materials: Hand-carved and painted pine Condition: Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Losses to early painted finish. Seats measure 17.5 inches high x 14.5 inches wide x 12.75 inches deep.
