Description
A pair of Swedish Rococo style painted wood armchairs from the late 19th century, with carved splats, cabriole legs and upholstery. Created in Sweden during the last decade of the 19th century, each of this pair of Rococo style armchairs features a pierced back with carved splat, connected to two serpentine open arms. The rectangular seat, recovered with a neutral toned fabric, is resting on a carved apron. The ensemble is raised on four cabriole legs connected to one another through a turned cross-stretcher. Painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes, this pair of Swedish Rococo style armchairs circa 1890 will bring a refined touch to any home decor. Condition Note: There's a few small spots on the fabric.
