Condition: Very good condition.
Pair of Philip Arctander "clam" lounge chairs upholstered in graphite gray sheepskin. The Arctander Chair was designed by Philip Arctander in 1944. It is also known as Muslingestolen - the Clam Chair. In 2016, Paustian reintroduced the chair back into production, in collaboration with Sofie Arctander Paustian. This pair offered is from the 2016 reissue and both chairs are marked with the Paustian label. Solid oak armrest and club-shaped legs with matt lacquer coating. The seat and back are fully upholstered and buttoned in leather. Very good condition with minimal wear from use. An excellent opportunity to acquire these chairs bellow retail and within the United States! *Dimensions provided include the thickness of the sheepskin to give overall measurements. -
