Important pair of carved lounge chairs, club chairs or armchairs in a 'Modern Craftsman' style by the Italian architect, Pierluigi Colli (1895-1968). The chairs are sober in form and are carved and incised by Hand in a simple, linear pattern and the arms are hand-hammered with a mallet. Literature: Published in Il Mobile Italiano degli Anni '40 e '50 by Irene de Gutry and Maria Paola Maino, Editori Laterza, p.138-139.
