Description
A pair of Pierre Chapo model S46 lounge chair in elm wood with a cognac leather seat and linen seat and backrest. The seat can be folded upwards and depending on your weight and posture, the wood at the legs tilts upwards, so the seat stays connected to your upper legs. France, circa 1979.. This chair is from Chapo's "Chlacc" series. The cushions are fixed front and back to two wood crosspieces. The system of crossbars rests on the base of the back struts so when they are sat on the the seat is locked in place.
