Fantastic teak and rope low lounge chair attributed to Pierre Jeanneret.
This was sourced from Chandigarh, India in the early 2000s.
This is similar in character to Jeanneret’s kangaroo chair. Designed for private residences in Chandigarh in the late 1950s.

This exact chair (along with a second chair that already sold) appeared in Sotheby's auction of 20th Century Design (June 2015, Lot 64) along with other Pierre Jeanneret items.
