Pierre Jeanneret Armless Upholstered Dining Chairs, Model PJ-SI-25-E
Rare set of six upholstered dining chairs having a compass type double side leg assembly, connected by two crosspieces at the top.
Provenance: Punjab University in Chandigarh
France, India, c. 1960s
Faux Leather
Seat height: 16.25 in.
Each with markings indicating provenance - These are authentic and directly from Chandigarh, India. These chairs have been lightly washed and polished. The upholstery is a brand new faux leather. The wear to the wood and strong patina is an indication of age - we ensure to preserve the patina as best as possible. Dimensions vary slightly due to the handmade nature of this design. Our gallery has served the world of high design for over 40 years and we personally guarantee each and every item we sell.
