Impressive scale. c. 1920, attributed to Edward F. Caldwell & Co., New York, in the Empire taste, with rectangular button tufted red leather seat, molded seat rail with bronze rosettes, on bold animal paw feet, unmarked, 23"h x 80"w x 42"d. Sold Christies, London. October 1st 2003.
