Description
Ready to elevate your lounging game? Meet the Curl lounge chairs—designed by the creative duo Roberto Tapinassi & Maurizio Manzoni for Roche Bobois, these rounded beauties are the definition of modern comfort with a hint of chic, sculptural style. The name says it all: these chairs literally curl around you, offering a cozy cocoon-like hug, whether you’re binge-watching your favorite series or diving into a good book.
Completely upholstered in a smooth light grey leather, these chairs are as much about aesthetics as they are about comfort. They have that perfect balance of being structured yet plush, making you feel like you’re sitting on a stylish pouf with just the right amount of support. Oh, and did we mention they swivel? Because yes, you can have your comfort and spin it too.
Now, let’s talk about condition. These chairs are in good used shape, but one has some wear that adds to its story—three noticeable spots where someone’s cleaning attempt went a little sideways. But here’s the silver lining: the set comes with the optional pillows (they were an extra cost originally!), and they do a fab job of disguising those imperfections. Plus, if you’re feeling a design refresh, you could easily re-dye the leather or even reupholster the seats. Options = endless!
Now a quick history lesson (don’t worry, it’s a cool one). Roche Bobois isn’t your average furniture brand. Hailing from France, this design powerhouse has been crafting luxury pieces since the 1960s. They’re all about blending haute couture fashion with high-end furniture design, working with top-tier designers from all over the globe like Vladimir Kagan (to name-drop just a little). Think of them as the runway show of the furniture world, where elegance meets innovation.
So, whether you're looking to update your lounge game or add a sleek, modern twist to your space, these Curl loungers are here to wrap you up in style—and maybe even a little intrigue. -
