Description
Pair of Pallone armchairs designed by Roy de Scheemaker for the Dutch manufacturer Leolux in 1989. This iconic model was originally created for the House of the Future in Rosmalen, an experimental project that explored innovative concepts for future living.
The Pallone chair is one of Leolux’s most recognizable designs, defined by its rounded silhouette, compact proportions and playful postmodern character. Its sculptural shape combines comfort with a bold visual presence, making it an ideal statement piece for contemporary interiors.
This pair features a dark blue leather seat and base, contrasted with a backrest newly reupholstered in a striking geometric fabric in shades of orange, burgundy, white and black. The combination of leather and patterned textile enhances the chair’s graphic, futuristic appearance while giving each piece a distinctive decorative character.
A rare and highly collectible pair of late 20th-century Dutch design, perfect for a living room, lounge area, bedroom corner or interior design project seeking a strong postmodern accent.
