The "Sam" chair created by Sam Larsson in 1974 for DUX of Sweden. Designed primarily for the office market and produced from the late 1970s to early 1980s in side and arm versions - great for dining. This set of seven (six are shown) are in a medium brown padded leather that is strapped at seat and back to a single piece tubular chromed steel frame that wraps to both sides of the chair. Seat back and underside are in a durable brown synthetic fabric. Small buckled leather strap connects the seat and back. Unique and stylish Scandinavian design from the late mid-century. All original plastic feat connect to the steel frame. There are color difference in the leather - all originally a dark brown, however, sunlight to some more than other parts. One strap is repaired. pinholes on seats where original thread is pulled between front and back. Good vintage condition.
