Rare Sam Resnick Chair with Heavy Saddle Leather, American, 1960s
-
Description
A wonderful and rare Mid-Century studio crafted lounge chair by Sam Resnick. The chair has an iron frame with a heavy, brown saddle leather seating and backrest and walnut armrests. At the backrest the leather is curved directly around the metal. The seat has a wooden frame and tilts slightly backwards, which makes you slide into the chair. Combined with the slightly concave and tapering armrests, the chair really takes you in. Minimal design with studio furniture qualities, excellent comfort and a stunning patina.
