Description
A fine quality Louis XV style lounge chair beautifully upholstered in yellow Scalamandre silk fabric with an overall foliate design. The well-carved hardwood frame starts at the top of the piece and ends in upturned front legs headed with square floral paterae and acanthus leaf carving, centered by a carved rectangular panel. An unusually elegant and comfortable chair with lovely well-maintained upholstery. Circa 1900-1920
