Description
A beautifully composed mid-century modern Scandinavian lounge chair. Most probably Swedish from the 1950s-1960s. The chair has the clean lines and understated elegance associated with Scandinavian design. This piece features a solid oak frame with softly tapered legs and sculpted armrests, offering both durability and a warm, organic presence.
The seat and backrest are upholstered in supple black faux leather, each detailed with classic button tufting that adds depth and visual interest while maintaining a refined, minimalist aesthetic. The gentle recline and ergonomic proportions make this chair comfortable, whether used for reading, working, or relaxing.
Lightweight yet sturdy, this versatile chair can be easily moved and styled in a variety of interiors from modern and contemporary to more eclectic or vintage-inspired spaces. It works beautifully as a desk chair, occasional chair, or accent piece in a living room or bedroom.
Very good vintage condition. The oak frame shows little wear consistent with age, and the faux leather upholstery remains clean and well-preserved, with only light signs of use. -
