Description
Set of four sculptural Art Deco side chairs of striking form. The curved backrest extends in a U-shape beneath the straight seat, framing a decorative sphere within the resulting void. The square base with rounded corners is adorned with a kymation frieze, and small casters allow for easy movement. Veneered in Macassar ebony along the edges and walnut on the surfaces. Seats and backs newly upholstered in cream velvet; frames professionally polished.
