Description
A set of ten elegant painted English Regency dining armchairs and a matching settee with carved cross-hatch backs and generous caned seats with silk cushions. Leaf and vine painted motifs in beautiful creamy white and greens to arms, backs, seat surrounds and legs. Two chairs are later reproductions. Partial restoration to some chairs and distressed finish in various areas as seen in photographs. Chosen and bought in 1979 by Bunny Williams for her project at 740 Park Avenue.
