Description
This is an outstanding set of 6 hand carved Italian Faux Bois Dining Chairs. This particular example of c. 1980's faux bois carving stands out from other examples of faux bois in that it is hand carved with more refined and realistic detailing. The chairs are newly upholstered (with new insides) in a 100% Belgium linen fabric. All of the chairs are arm chairs-- two host chairs with upholstered backs and 4 side chairs with cane backs. The pair of host chair photos were taken in interior lighting and the 4 side chair photos were taken in full natural sun which accounts for the apparent difference in wood tone. These chairs would mix beautifully with "Ghost" chairs if more than 6 chairs were needed. These chairs are Louis XVI in spirit and would complement a Louis XVI or Directoire-style dining room table. All of the chairs are in very good condition and are ready for their new home.
