Description
A set of four late 19th century Klismos chairs from Denmark. The chairs are made of dark wood and have carved front legs. They have brownish orange fabric upholstered seatings.
The design of the Klismos chair, with its wide and curved backrest and sabre legs, can be traced back to Ancient Greece (5th century BCE). Elegant and iconic chairs in a very good condition. -
