Set Of Six 18th Century Baroque Dining Chairs With Gilt Accents, Italy ca. 1790
-
Description
Exquisite set of six handcarved baroque dining chairs from the late period around 1790 in Italy. These stunning Italian baroque chairs were elaborately handcrafted out of solid oakwood and trimmed to a very dark nutwood tone. The elegantly curved legs impress with amazing looking carved patterns on the outsides and are connected with a beautiful designed "cross". Lovely gilt accents enforce the incredible look of this appealing set of six baroque chairs. All chairs have been newly upholstered around 25 years ago with a glamorous golden/ yellow velvet which perfectly fits to the dark brown tone of the wood. A fantastic set of late 18th century Italian baroque dining chairs which don´t only look great - they are also very comfortable to sit on.
