Set of 6 Chinese Carved Whitewashed Dining Chairs, Rosewood, Chippendale Style; Comprised of a pair of arm and four side chairs. Complete with six silk padded seat cushions (see video) having an oriental motif.
A stunning set of recently whitewashed dining chairs. Each rosewood frame has been meticulously reworked to give a new, chic, mid century modern vibe. The set is finely carved with full bodied dragons on each backrest. The set represents a form of Chinese rosewood in the manner of Huang Huali; a fantastic example of an era long gone by. Most likely created first half of the 20th century. Solid & strong construction.
