Description
The ICO Dining Chair
The ICO Dining Chair is a sophisticated reinterpretation of Ico Parisi’s modernism, where sculptural form meets everyday functionality. Defined by its signature angled legs, graceful architectural frame, and floating upholstered seat and backrest, the chair captures the elegance and lightness of Italian mid-century design while offering comfort and durability for modern living.
Its sculpted frame creates a distinctive silhouette from every angle, while the generously upholstered seat and contoured backrest provide a comfortable dining experience without compromising the chair’s refined proportions. Equally suited to a formal dining room, intimate breakfast area, or hospitality setting, the ICO Dining Chair is designed to feel timeless, expressive, and effortlessly versatile.
Customization — Bespoke Experience
The ICO Dining Chair is fully customizable to complement your project. Select from our available wood finishes and upholster the seat and back in your own material (COM), or choose from our curated collection of in-house fabrics, including linen, bouclé, and velvet options.
Each detail—from the wood tone to the upholstery—is thoughtfully considered to create a chair that feels tailored, intentional, and uniquely suited to its environment. For larger dining sets, trade, or hospitality projects, custom specifications can also be discussed.

Designer Story — Carlos Solano
Carlos Solano’s approach to design is rooted in the balance that defines mid-century modernism: simple forms elevated by rich, honest materials. Each piece begins with these timeless principles but is thoughtfully adapted for modern living. His design language is marked by architectural lines, natural materials, and a quiet restraint, where a single thoughtful detail can define the whole.
The Studio Originals collection embodies this philosophy. Conceived to offer timeless mid-century foundations, each piece invites clients to make it their own through bespoke customization. No two spaces or clients are alike, and this adaptability ensures every design feels both personal and enduring.
Handcrafted in Connecticut, serving clients in CT, NY and NJ, and nationwide. -
