Sven Ellekaer Three Legged Lounge Chair, Christian Linneberg, Denmark, 1962
-
Description
This very rare lounge chair was designed by Sven Ellekaer and produced by Christian Linneberg Møbelfabrik in Denmark, 1962. The striking design is composed of a semi-circular bent backrest and a round circle as a seat, both upholstered in a black vinyl leather. The three legs are made of teak wood, the two back legs supporting the back rest. The decoratively applied vertical lines of a contrasting wenge wood veneer in the legs are unique for this model, which was normally executed entirely in teak or rosewood.
