Svend Skipper "Papa Bear" Model-91 Wingback Lounge Chair
-
Description
Beautifull “Papa Bear” Lounge Chair designed by Svend Skipper for Skipper Møbelfabrik in Denmark circa 1950's. This model acquired the name “Papa Bear” when a journalist claimed that the chair looked like a bear hugging the sitter from behind. Its features include teak wood legs and wood padded arm rests. This chair has been newly upholstered with a quality beige tweed fabric to maintain its modern charm. It is playful yet an extremely comfortable design that has become a marker of Danish Modern.
