Swedish Gustavian Sofa Bench or Settee with Griffin Carvings in Original Paint

Description
A rare Gustavian style sofa with beautiful wood carved griffins, hand-scraped to the original paint and newly upholstered, circa 1900. Exquisite carved detail. The seat frame features rosettes on the sides and leg posts. The front legs are adorned with lotus flowers.
