Venetian Sofa by Vladimir Kagan in Shearling, C. 1950s

Description
This exceptional vintage Vladimir Kagan Venetian Sofa, circa 1950s, is a striking example of Kagan’s sculptural approach to mid-century modern design. Fully restored and newly reupholstered in luxurious natural shearling, the sofa pairs rich texture with its graceful, inviting silhouette. The design is elevated by beautifully sculpted walnut legs, whose sweeping, tapered form adds warmth and architectural character. Generous proportions and softly contoured upholstery create an elegant balance of comfort and visual lightness. A sophisticated and highly distinctive early Kagan design, the Venetian Sofa combines exceptional craftsmanship, organic form, and timeless modernism.
