Originally conceived in 1964, Ward Bennett (1917-2003) drew inspiration from the hammock-style deck chairs of the grand 19th-century ocean liners, creating a design that exudes both sophistication and comfort.

These scissor chairs boast solid ash frames, finished in a warm black stain that enhances the natural beauty of the wood. The chairs have been newly upholstered in a luxurious stone-colored woven chenille fabric, reminiscent of boucle, providing a beautiful textural contrast to the sleek black frames.
