Wonderful Antique Armchair in Solid Oak Europe 19th Century

$ 4,300
  • Description
    Wonderful Antique Armchair in Solid Oak, Europe, 19th Century.

    A European farmhouse vernacular style chair, with a straight backrest and wonderful curly armrests.

    Great design. Although strict and angular, this chair also shows a distinct sculptural quality most notable in the curved armrests, the beveled panels at the inner sides and the curly apron up front. Full of interesting details, yet very subtle and timeless. Surprisingly comfortable too. Would be great in a brutalist or wabi sabi inspired interior.

    Comes in original and honest condition with a great patina en color on the solid oak. Shows wear due to age and use.
