Scandinavian Midcentury Lounge Chairs by Yngve Ekström for Swedese
-
Description
Pair of rare lounge chairs by Yngve Ekström for Swedese, circa 1970. This model is a great example of the robust pine furniture era that grew popular in Sweden in the late 1960s. The chairs are made of thick solid pine with rectangular shapes. Condition: The chairs have been completely sanded down and are sold untreated, to receive a beautiful patina in the future, suiting this type of furniture. The elastic straps are new and the black leather cushions are not original, but vintage and fit the chairs.
