Award winning Swedish-born Yngve Ekström (1913-1988) was an architect, woodworker, and furniture designer who among the group of artist that defined the mid-century Scandinavian Modern style. This lounge chair is classic in a bentwood solid teak curved frame with seating in original ribbed light cognac leather. A bit more solid in structure than the more popular Lamino series and cushier seating. Manufactured by Swedese Møbler AB, 1960s Sweden. Condition: spotting to leather and wear/marks to frame.
