Description
A Swedish black painted two-part linen press from the Gustavian period, circa 1780. This piece is made in two parts for easy of transport (lower dresser base and upper cabinet). This beautiful cabinet has two large doors above three long drawers and is raised on cabriole legs. The interior upper cabinet is painted a beautiful blue and contains three fixed shelves. Original cast brass hardware and original hand-forged iron decorative strap hinges, original working lock, and keys.
