This unique, over 255 year old nutwood veneered baroque commode impresses with outstanding looking, elaborately crafted marquetry works. The three drawers, all veneered with fine nutwood, show magnificent designed fields adorned by beautiful so-called "herringbone" pattern. All sections on the drawers show additional, fantastic looking inlayed cherrywood frames. Embellished by artfully made brass fittings, the three cambered drawers can be locked separately with the still original locks and offer much storage space. Another highlight of this dresser is definitely the great worked top plate with its two stunning inlayed square sections.
