Description
This Louis XV chest of drawers in walnut combines timeless elegance with practical functionality, making it a sophisticated addition to any space. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the chest features three smaller drawers in the upper section and two larger drawers below, all fitted with their original drooping brass handles. The upper drawers open with two old keys, adding a touch of historic charm to the piece.
The design is further enhanced by fluted front uprights and front legs, adding a refined neoclassical element to the overall composition. The sides are crafted with two-panel construction, providing structural integrity and visual balance. The drawer frames are also made of walnut, showcasing the consistency of quality and craftsmanship throughout the chest.
The walnut wood boasts a beautiful, rich patina that highlights the natural grain and adds warmth to the piece. With its good size and elegant proportions, this chest of drawers is a versatile storage solution for a bedroom, living room, or hallway, embodying the enduring charm of Louis XV design. -
