Description
An excellent quality, 18th century French walnut commode with fabulous quarter veneered and moulded top, having a moulded and detailed edge, conforming to the shape of the commode below. Having three large, long drawers with unusual brass handles with cherubs offering grapes, on the back plates. Flanked by fluted canted corners and fielded panels to the sides with detailed inlay and book matched veneers. Raised on short, fluted tapering legs.
