18th Century Louis XV Painted Commode hails from the Vallee du Rhone region of France. The arbalette ( crossbow ) shaped front & top is a distinctive feature of Louis XV style. The 3 drawers have dove-tail construction and have the original hand-crafted bronze drawer pulls.
