19th Century French Country Oak Wall Shelf

Description
The design of this antique oak wall shelf ingeniously combines practicality with decorative charm. Built in France in the 1800s, the fresh natural finish of the restored wood and the light simplicity of the design speak to a Provincial sensibility: rustic yet refined. The five shelves are elegantly contoured, as are the lower brackets, lending a delicate character to the silhouette. FLanking spindles complete the composition, gracefully framing the objects placed upon the shelves; turned finials at either end add an ornamental finishing touch.
