19th Century Limewash French Provincial Louis XV Style Armoire

Description
This French Provincial armoire is crafted in the Louis XV style, featuring a molded cornice above a pair of paneled cabinet doors with shaped glazed upper panels and raised serpentine lower panels. The elegantly contoured frame is accentuated by molded stiles with carved floral rosettes and subtle foliate detailing, while hand-forged iron escutcheons provide a striking contrast to the softly distressed finish. Raised on a shaped apron with gently curved feet. The reverse of the doors are limewashed in a robin's-egg blue while the interior of the armoire consists of a single upper shelf with two open floating compartments below.
