Description
Handsome pine cabinet offering great versatility for today’s interiors. The upper section has 6 blind doors over a lower section with work surface and 4 blind doors. The substantial lower base, likely fitted with drawers at one time, has the perfect scale and presence to serve as a kitchen island, console, or work table. The lower section can be used with or without the upper section, but the top cabinet can be reinstalled if desired; the base currently shows dowel holes along the upper edge from past use, which would need to be re-drilled. We can complete this restoration at no charge should you wish to use the piece as a full two-part cabinet.
The warm, textural pitch pine and substantial scale make this cabinet highly adaptable across a range of interiors. It’s a natural fit for farmhouse, country, and rustic European spaces, where the wood’s character and age contribute authentic charm. Its simple, honest construction also suits modern farmhouse and Scandinavian-inspired interiors, adding warmth without feeling heavy. -
