Description
A refined pair of mid-century modern cabinets, circa 1960, each fully wrapped in natural parchment (vellum) with a soft, matte sheen that subtly enhances their clean, architectural lines. The minimalist form is balanced by understated brass hardware, lending warmth and a touch of sophistication.
Each cabinet features a pair of upper drawers set above double doors, which open to reveal interior storage shelves—ideal for use as bedroom cabinets, entry consoles, or refined bar storage. The pieces rest on short, square tapering legs, which give the cabinets a grounded yet elevated stance, in keeping with modernist design principles.
This versatile pair reflects the clean luxury and textural elegance characteristic of high-style 1960s interiors, often attributed to French or American makers working in the Jean-Michel Frank tradition. -
