A charming Alpine cabinet made from solid fir wood, originating from the region of Cortina d’Ampezzo in Northern Italy’s Dolomite Mountains. Dating to the late 18th century, this piece embodies the rustic refinement of Tyrolean craftsmanship. It features a single drawer above a paneled door framed with simple inset moldings, all resting on short block feet. The light blue painted surface has aged beautifully, developing a soft, time-worn patina that enhances its authentic mountain character. Built with practicality and durability in mind, the cabinet reflects the traditional joinery and modest ornamentation typical of Alpine furniture from this era.
